Problem Statement 6: Making Energy Efficient EVs of the Future

Energy consumption in an Electric Vehicle is dependent on several internal (weight, features etc.) and external factors (road topology, driving style etc.). To cater to the energy needs of an EV, either the battery capacity must be increased, or the energy efficiency has to be increased.  This could be explored in multiple ways:

a. Identify the areas where the available energy in an EV could be used more efficiently or ways to eliminate/reduce energy wastage.
[Or]
b. Propose Intelligent Battery Management Systems based on ML and AI to enable range extension in EVs.
