PROBLEM STATEMENT 2: SOLVING URBAN TRANSPORT WOES. CAN WE MAKE SHARED MOBILITY THE SOLUTION?

The increasing acceptance of shared mobility solutions in the form of ride-sharing shows a gradual shift in urban public mindset from vehicle owner-ship to user-ship. The Government is supporting the adaptation of various mass transit systems that will help reduce the burden on Indian roads. Additionally, with options like shared cabs and bikes, the idea of shared mobility is viewed more favorably in terms of cost and ease of travel. This has also begun filling the gap for the essential last-mile connectivity, helping people reach the nearest transit hub. Propose a business model solution where EVs are used to make this last mile connectivity more convenient, cost-effective, time-saving and comfortable which will help further increase adoption of shared mobility.
